MS Mama Marija II is a 49,90 meter long and 8,80-meter wide vessel, thus belonging with her size to the larger type of boats sailing on the Croatian coast. The same as the large majority of other ships that sail on our domestic cruises Mama Marija II is also built-in one of the local shipyards that specialize in the construction of vessels perfectly designed for the sparkling Croatian coast. Each of newly built ships usually comes with some novelties in design and improvement of amenities and so Mama Marija II does as well.

Guests onboard are pampered by 10 well-experienced crew members dedicated to provide a home away from home experience of life on board. Swim stops in secluded bays of alluring islands is one of the most attractive activities on your cruise so Mama Marija II conveniently offers a  swim platform with 2 boarding ladders for easy access to the water as well as two outdoor showers and public toilets on each deck. Snorkeling lovers will also find their fun way to enjoy by using snorkeling gear available on board. Please keep in mind that the crew provides beach towels for all the guests onboard.

At the time of far from crowd anchoring, there is also a speedboat at guests` disposal which allows transfers to the shore.

Mama Marija II is equipped with video surveillance, state of the art navigational equipment, fire alarm, smoke detectors, life rafts, and tenders. The ship is thoroughly air-conditioned and covered with WiFi.

Laundry service is also available onboard.

 

Accommodation on MS Mama Marija II

On Mama Marija II There are in total 19 air conditioned luxurious passengers` cabins measuring 13-18 square meters. They are located on two decks, namely the main deck and standard (lower) deck. The cabins have Twin beds (measuring 90 x 200 cm) and European King size beds (measuring 180 x 200 cm).

Please notice that on request several cabins can be used as a triple. All cabins have spacious bathrooms with shower tubs, toiletries and hair dryers. Also, all cabins have SAT-TV, windows or portholes, WiFi, working desks, mirror, safety deposit box, night lamps, wardrobe and cupboard, chair, 220 V electrical supply, smoke detector/fire alarm, lifejackets, luggage compartments.

Daily cabin cleaning service is always provided as well as bed linen change in the middle of the cruise week.

 

Social Area & Facilities

On the upper deck, guests will fully enjoy a spacious and elegant lounge restaurant with its beautiful panoramic windows and adjacent bar/lounge area. Here you will find a big LCD TV, buffet breakfast section, water dispenser, tea/coffee corner, an audio system for public announcements by the Captain, or a cruise manager.

The restaurant connects to a fully covered terrace with chairs and tables where guests can have their relaxing moments. In case of unpleasant winds, the terrace can be closed with a removable partition.

The uppermost, sun deck covering an area of 350 square meters is simply gorgeous. It is partly shaded and provides ultimate relaxation. There are loungers at guests` disposal, chairs, a shower and a rooftop jacuzzi. This is a truly paradise place where you will indulge yourself, a place for sunbathing, for having your cold drink, reading your favorite book, chatting with your friends.

 

Dining on Mama Marija II

As we know, good food is vitally important on a ship and we are always happy to have great reviews by our past passengers regarding food. Prepared by an experienced chef, the food served on board Mama Marija II is based mostly on the traditional Croatian ( mainly Mediterranean) cuisine as well as international cuisine.

Hearty breakfasts are served as a buffet-style while lunches include 3 courses.  Half board service is always offered in the charter package and breakfasts and lunches includes also a welcome reception with a drink and welcome dinner.

There is always a possibility to make arrangements for additional dinners on board with, on our ships, the always praised Captain`s dinner. Captain`s dinner comes with 4-course meals and the menu is at Captain`s choice.

The ship`s bar offers a wide selection of high-quality wines from all Croatian regions as well as international drinks/beverages. Fresh fruit is served daily in the lounge as well as afternoon biscuits with tea/coffee.
